    Catfishing was great Friday night. Adela Romo of Fallbrook landed a 15-pound 12 ounce lunker from the fishing pier. She caught it using a hotdog. Many anglers pulled in limits from boats and from the shore. Boulder Bay was one of the hotter spots.

  • Excessive Heat Warning - Trail Closures August 15, 2018
    The trails at Iron Mountain trail and Mt. Woodson (from Lake Poway to Potato Chip Rock) will close when the National Weather Service predicts temperatures reaching/exceeding 100 degrees or issues an Excessive Heat Warning.
  • Week of August 8-12 August 12, 2018
    The Catfishing was great on Friday night, especially for 13-year-old Cylas who caught his first fish ever. It was a nice 3-pound catfish that he caught using Mackerel from a boat in Boulder Bay.
  • Week of July 25-29 July 30, 2018
    Night fishing was terrific on Friday after the stock. Many anglers caught their limit of catfish and there were some good-sized fish in the mix. Boats did well but people on the shore got limits as well.
  • Poway Annual Street Maintenance Through late Sept. July 23, 2018
    This year’s project will complete a slurry seal on Espola Road from north of Poway High to the western City limit near Summerfield Lane.
